President Magnum Development
John Hughes is a Principal of MAg Partners and President and Principal of Magnum Development Corp. John has 30 years of experience in real estate development leadership including ventures in Retail; Corporate Office; Entertainment; Hotel; Medical; Fitness and Health; Light Industrial and Residential. John focuses his efforts on securing new opportunities, arranging the equity capital for various ventures, and managing partnerships to achieve desired outcomes. John oversees 20+ partnerships including real estate ventures, food and beverage enterprises and retail businesses. John received his BA in Philosophy from Colorado State University.
Principal, President Magnum Realty
Joe Kutilek is Vice President of Magnum Development Corp. and President of Magnum Realty, Inc. In 1997, Joe formed the Magnum Companies with partner John Hughes and has specialized in retail and office leasing, identifying properties for new development and managing Magnum owned and third-party properties. Joe has a diverse resume that includes 30+ acre power center developments with national retailers; neighborhood shopping centers; industrial build-to-suit projects; and freestanding retail tenant-build developments. Joe is a principal owner and equity partner in most Magnum Companies projects. Joe graduated from the University of Arizona with a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Real Estate.
President, MAg Partners
Josh Berger is a founder of MAg Partners and serves as the development lead for all MAg Partners projects. Josh’s education as a student of design at the Kansas City Art Institute, combined with years of leading and negotiating real estate developments, allows Josh to bring a unique perspective to the development process. Josh has built an impressive career over his 15-plus years in commercial real estate, developing and operating traditional for-profit mixed-use projects, and several P3 projects working with private equity, universities, and municipalities.
Director of Development and Redevelopment, Asset Manager
Kris Moore oversees development and construction activities for Magnum Development Corp., as well as acting as asset manager for portions of the portfolio. Since joining Magnum in 2002, she has specialized in Project Development and Property Management. Kris has managed entitlements, design, construction, and tenant improvements of ground-up developments in 6 midwestern states and 16 different municipalities. These developments included working with government officials on land use; zoning; tax increment financing; site infrastructure; building design; and permitting. Kris also manages improvement projects for local, regional and national retail tenants for Magnum and third-party owners. Kris currently sits on the Zoning Board of Appeals for the City of Omaha.
Director of Residential Development, Accounting
Michelle Zimmerman handles the accounting for all Magnum Development Corp. related partnerships and properties, as well as managing the corporate office. Michelle is also an officer in McCune Development and directs development activities on the 400+ acres of industrial park and residential subdivision projects currently being developed by Magnum/McCune. Michelle has been active in commercial real estate for over 15 years, previously working for Omaha-based Cormac Company before joining Magnum in 2011. Michelle is well versed in many facets of commercial real estate operations including multi-family, retail, office, industrial, and single family residential. Michelle serves as Clerk on 4 Sanitary Improvement Districts in Douglas and Sarpy Counties in Nebraska.
Marc Thibault oversees facilities for metro-Omaha properties and development projects. Marc works with the day to day operations of our properties to facilitate a good working relationship with our tenants, contractors, vendors and clients. Marc served over 22 years with the Omaha Police Department prior to moving into the commercial real estate industry.
James Whipple joined Magnum Consulting in 2013 as an Account Manager before expanding his role in 2017 to become a Property Manager. James has a B.A. in History and Political Science from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He is currently pursuing a business degree from UNO with a concentration in Real Estate and Land Use Economics.
Legal and Administrative
Teressa Barnes is a real estate paralegal with over 25 years of experience. Teressa works part-time for Magnum Companies drafting and reviewing its commercial real estate documents, organizing legal entities, and drafting corporate documents. Her area of expertise is drafting and negotiating commercial real estate documents, managing the lease administration process, and overseeing the due diligence process of acquisitions and dispositions. Teressa holds an Associate Degree in Paralegal studies from Nebraska College of Business.
President & Owner Magnum Business Services
Maureen Lohmeier is the Principal and President of Magnum Business Services. Magnum Business Services provides accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll services for 30+ small businesses operating in multiple states across the Midwest. Maureen has over 20 years of experience in the accounting field. She graduated from the University of Nebraska Lincoln with a BSBA with an emphasis in Accounting.
Project Manager MAg Partners
Brandi Raimi joined the Magnum team in 2018 with 10 years of experience in property management, leasing and client relations. Brandi coordinates the details of new development work including budget management, site selection and project coordination for MAg Partners. In addition, Brandi manages communications and marketing for Magnum Companies and is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients and key personnel within our affiliated companies. Brandi is a licensed real estate agent with a Bachelor of Science in Education and Human Sciences from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
